The Judging Process

The judging process was split up into two stages, in the first stage, businesses and farmers could nominate themselves in their relevant categories to be entered into the competition. From these entries, the judges examined and scored the entries along with industry experts to narrow it down to the top three finalists.

Picking winners from such an exceptional range of businesses and farmers is no easy feat, so for stage 2 of the judging process, the judges from Western Daily Press then took a visit to each finalist to decide which winner from the top three would receive the award on the night.
