Daily Tasks:

• Ensure all returning vans are unloaded and all equipment is housed in the correct areas.
• Ensure cleanliness is at the forefront of everyone’s mind, both internally and externally of their vehicles and any equipment used.
• Monitoring stock returns and reminding Drivers to fill out the correct paperwork.
• Report fresh vehicle damage to Fleet.
• Work closely with the vehicle hire company and our workshop to ensure all service are aware of any work that is required on the vehicles.
• Send out end of day communications.
• Carry out vehicle cleaning checks.
• Low key maintenance – Bulb changing, wing mirror glass replacement.
• Attend daily morning meetings with the Fleet team.
• Attend monthly 1-2-1’s with Head of Transport.
• Collate driver paperwork ready for filing.
• Ensure front of house and yard area in general are left ready for the oncoming shifts.
• Assist with the vehicle parking system ensuring the A00-A04 plan is being followed at all times.
• Ensure the vehicle cleaning cupboard is fully stocked.
• Download the fuel fobs daily.
• Ensure the Fuel pump area and Oil shed are cleaned daily.
• Undertake any other duties considered by the company to be within the Fleet &Yard Controller remit.

• Ensure that the quality, safety and legalities of all products are adhered to in all aspects of Food Safety including in relation to temperature control and maintenance of the chill chain.

• Ensure Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and make recommendations for improvement

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Heavy Lifting
• Competent with modern tooling and equipment
• Good understanding of written English
• Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
• In accordance with our drug & alcohol policy we will be testing all new employees at induction

Experience:

• Microsoft Outlook, Excel and word: 1 year (preferred)
