Daily Tasks:

To Champion Company Core Values (Customer Service, Quality, Excellence, Teamwork and Respect) and promote a strong health and safety culture fully embedded across the department. You will provide strong, inspiring leadership, direction and motivation to all site colleagues, departmental managers, direct reports and support teams such as, warehousing, transport, stock control etc. You will deliver a consistent level of service across all areas of the Market Operation, ensuring inbound and outbound volumes are processed, stock and loading accuracy and delivery targets are achieved within an efficient, safe and compliant environment.

Duties will include inspecting and approving the quality and quantity of goods received and dispatched and support in developing warehouse operation systems by determining product handling, storage requirements, equipment utilization and inventory management.

Management of your department including assisting with recruitment, completion of all HR Paperwork and maintaining the time and attendance system, training and developing of the team. Completing regular 1 to 1 meeting ensuring KPI’s are being met and looking for ways to continually improve performance.

You will regularly meet with your manager to discuss implementation of cost saving exercises and discuss the need for operational changes required to ensure all targets are being met. You will also be expected to communicate with the business at all levels which will involve attending operational and business performance meetings.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to work in a temperature-controlled environment
• Experience in team leading
• Experience working in warehouse distribution or similar

Experience:

• Warehouse: 1 year (Required)
• Team Leading: 1 year (preferred)
• Counter Balance FLT (Preferred)
