Daily Tasks:

You will provide on-going support to the procurement department. You will communicate with members of the team to assess buying needs and procure fresh produce. You will transfer produce between depots as required. you will source produce lines and provide value and cost information to Managers. You will update all departments on current market conditions. You will book in invoices and report issues and quality rejections.

You will be motivated to work either alone or as part of the wider teams in order to satisfy our customer needs and maintain a healthy and safe working environment which complies to all food hygiene standards. You will have good communication skills both verbal and written, problem solving and planning skills.

• Night Shift

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience of working with fresh produce
• Experience of working with BRC accreditation or similar
• Experience of working within a supply chain environment

Experience:

• working in a frozen environment: 1 year (preferred)
• Picking & packing: 1 year (preferred)
