From the very early days of Arthur David, the business has supplied the Care Sector. Whether that is a Care Home, Hospital or even a Treatment Centre we understand that the vulnerable in our society need to be cared for no matter what the weather man throws at us.
We have our own all weather-emergency plan. It includes our own snow plough, gritting vehicle and a fleet of 4×4 vehicles for those difficult to reach places.
We can even supply you with Road Salt to keep your own paths clear. Nothing will stop us from ensuring the very freshest products reach your door – not matter what the meteorological challenge
All you need to do is
“Leave it with us”
Take a look at some of our products, all available with next day delivery – orders taken up until 11pm:
It’s 3am, and all’s quiet on a cold and crisp January morning. The night Care Manager looks out of the window across the fields of his remote Care Home, and then looks again…it’s a lot lighter than it was…it’s snowing, and it’s snowing hard. Hard enough to make driving hazardous, if not impossible, and that could be a serious problem.
It’s at times like these that thoughts immediately turn to the welfare of the residents and making sure that nothing happens to threaten them, and of course ensuring heat and food tops these concerns. There was enough for breakfast, but what about lunch, and dinner – and the next day if it continued snowing.
The answer? One call to the office at Arthur David and that Care Manager’s mind was put at rest. Although the van driver on his run had already called in to report hat the route was impassable for his vehicle, the office was able to assure him that the delivery would be made by one of our fleet of specially adapted 4×4 vehicles.
Lunch would be served after all. And dinner.
Our vehicle arrived in time with the main delivery, but the even better news was that the team at the depot had managed to add several other products, products that the Care Home’s usual supplier had failed to deliver, because snow stopped them.
