Don’t just take our word for it…

Hear what our colleagues have to say about working for Arthur David.

Previously I spent a lot of time travelling in and out of Bristol for work, I often saw an Arthur David van. One day, I decided to look on the website and came across Arthur and Diana’s story and at that moment, I knew I wanted to work for them. No two days are the same when working with Fresh Produce. It can throw all sorts of challenges your way but working closely with my teams & liaising with suppliers and growers, whilst understanding their challenges is what it’s all about. No matter what department you work in, we are all here for the same purpose and that is to ensure we deliver an amazing experience to our customers.

Distribution & Supply Chain

Living locally I have always known Arthur, I have always respected him and the family for all the hard work he and they have put into their business. They’ve been a role model for many people so it was a privilege to be offered a role within the Production department. As with all good businesses it’s the people that make it such an amazing place to work. All the staff in all of the departments are willing to help whenever needed and the senior management are respectful, listen to all the staff and make me feel appreciated. I like all aspects of my role, from working on improving product quality to 121’s with the staff.

Production

I joined Arthur David shortly after my partner, Lucy was pregnant. I didn’t want to try and juggle a new baby and shift work. Working for Arthur David I feel well respected and I enjoy the diversity of tasks and the satisfaction from solving problems. I like how involved the senior management are with the business. Also it being a family run business, it isn’t all about share holders and profit, the company really cares about its employees. It is a lovely family run company that looks after its employees.
