Fine Foods Procurement Support
£27,500 per year
Full Time, Permanent
42.5 hours per week Monday-Friday - 6:30am-3:30pm - 1 in 3 Saturdays
To assist the Fine Foods manager in the organization and smooth running of the non-produce departments of the business. To ensure compliance with quality and procedures making sure all products are managed and ready for dispatch to our customers.
Daily Tasks:
- To comply with Company Core Values
- Support with the process of sourcing and selling “special order” items from intake to outbound
- Assist Fine Foods Manager with daily ordering of products as required (Inc. Hobbs House)
- Add purchase orders in on ISSAC system (once received from Buyers)
- Create daily intake sheets as required
- Create and process internal transfers (short-term until movement to Hallatrow)
- Cross-reference delivery notes with confirmed purchase orders and stock file
- Check all supplier invoices with the stock receipts printout from ISSAC
- Maintain Supplier performance file, Error Log and Incident Log and provide information as required
- Contact suppliers concerning quantity and pricing anomalies, rejected products, produce rejection paperwork, and ensure credit note is requested from supplier
- Liaise with warehouse department regarding incoming deliveries
- Liaise with departmental managers to inform them of product information/changes
- Liaise with Technical Department to ensure BRC compliance with all new suppliers
- Undertake any other duties considered by the company to be within the remit.
- There may be a business need for you to carry out other duties within the business that are within your skill set.
- To comply with Company Health & safety policy and take responsibility of your actions and report any Health & Safety concerns.
- To carry out, as requested, any other duties within the Internal Distribution Centre which are within your skill set where there is a business need.

Skills, Abilities and Competences:
- Passionate about food. Self-starter with the capacity to work flexibly in a small team.
- Excellent Planning and organisation. Attention to detail and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Communication, both written & verbal.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
