Big or small, we value good quality food from local suppliers
We understand that food provenance really matters to our customers, which drives our enthusiasm to source as much as we can from our local suppliers. From the finest cheese and dairy to artisan pickles and crackers to the freshest locally grown produce – we make it easy for our customers to choose local.
We take great pride in sourcing and selecting the finest produce that Britain has to offer. Buying British matters to us, not just because it supports UK farmers, growers and producers, but also because our customers expect it.
We’re committed to giving West Country produce pride of place on our shelves. In order to bring you the best seasonal fruits, vegetables and edible flowers, we work with local farmers who pick their produce at the peak of their flavour and freshness. Supporting local farmers reduces our carbon footprint and helps build a more sustainable food chain.
We are a family business and we want everyone who works with us to share our core values. We also want our supply chain to operate responsibly and ethically, so we work collaboratively with our suppliers to help them understand our values and ensure that they do business in the right way.
Any opportunity we get to shout about how fantastic the West Country is – will will take it! Browse our featured recipes and you’ll often spot one or two ‘home-grown’ favourites making a regular appearance. It’s just what we do to show how much we love our home, landscape and community.
