Our Community

As you can tell, our community of customers, suppliers and colleagues is hugely important to us – but it doesn’t stop there!

Our Two Core Charities

Community of Purpose and The Pony Farm Bus are two organisations that are particularly close to us. We are proud to support the incredible work they do to provide opportunities, support and education to children and families across our local communities, and to contribute to the positive impact they make every day.

Community of Purpose

We have proudly supported Community of Purpose (COP) for over a decade, helping to make a real difference to children and families across Bristol. Through our support of their ‘Break Free’ programme, children who might otherwise miss out are provided with nutritious food, engaging activities and a safe, supportive environment. Our funding has helped provide 5,385 pieces of fruit and contributed towards 3,590 hot meals. In addition to financial support, many of our staff generously volunteer their time, attending sessions and helping to supervise activities, ensuring that local children can enjoy enriching experiences and opportunities throughout the year.

The Pony Farm Bus

The Pony Chew Valley, run by Josh and Holly Eggleton, created a fun, mobile food education bus to bring the experience of growing, cooking, and eating food directly to communities and schools across the South West that may struggle to access it, particularly in deprived areas near Bristol. The bus is equipped with cooking stations and growing spaces like hydroponics, a greenhouse, and mushroom cultivation, and works in line with the UK Food Education Charter while tailoring visits to each school’s needs. We have helped with fundraising & events!
