Simply Grow, Supplier Visit🌱
Simply Grow Ltd

Introduction to Simply Grow Ltd
Recently, we had the opportunity to visit Simply Grow in Bristol, who are one of our fantastic suppliers that grow high-quality microgreens. Simply Grow started 4 years ago in Cheltenham in a small room and have grown from small scale trials to a fully operational system. It all began with Max and Sylwia having a passion for sustainable & efficient farming, they saw the potential of hydroponics to revolutionise food production to make it more space efficient and accessible. They now grow amazing standard microgreens and our expanding their technology for others to use!

Simplicities and Difficulties
I asked Max and Sylwia about the easiest and hardest microgreens they grow, they said that the easiest include radish and mustard. These are the easiest due them growing very quickly and requiring minimal care. On the other hand, the hardest is red amaranth because it's incredibly delicate and highly sensitive to over watering, these factors make it especially challenging in hydroponic systems. To manage these difficulties, Simply Grow use precise water control, careful monitoring, and adjusted airflow to maintain the ideal conditions whilst also continuously improving their growing process.
What does the future look like for Simply Grow Ltd
As of right now, Simply Grow are focused on their passion for microgreens, and our continuously refining their growing techniques and expanding their reach. They are also at virtually full capacity where they are currently based so mentioned the idea of moving to a new location with more space, giving them the opportunity to grow more! Max and Sylwia are currently exploring the idea of growing mushrooms which is a very exciting project, they are still researching in preparation for this but hopefully they can make it happen in the not to distant future!
Their goal for Simply Grow is to integrate new sustainable farming methods while staying true to their commitment of growing fresh, high-quality produce.
I asked Sylwia and Max "Why do you enjoy what you do?"...
"There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing plants thrive and knowing that we’re making a difference-both in how food is grown and in supporting more sustainable agriculture. Plus, the process of continuous innovation keeps things exciting!" - Max & Sylwia
