British Food Fortnight 2026

Serving the West Country and Beyond Since 1962

Celebrating the people, produce and relationships at the heart of Arthur David

British Food Fortnight is a celebration of the incredible food produced across Britain. For us, it’s also an opportunity to celebrate something that has been at the heart of Arthur David for more than six decades – the relationship behind the food.

Since 1962, we’ve been proudly serving customers across the West Country and beyond. A lot has changed during that time, but what matters most to us hasn’t: great products, passionate people and service you can rely on.

Built on Great Relationships

Great food starts with great ingredients – and behind those ingredients are great people.

We’re proud of the relationships we’ve built with growers, farmers, makers and suppliers over the years. They don’t just connect us with fantastic products; they give us knowledge too, understanding what’s in season, where products come from, how they’re made and what makes them special.

From fantastic British produce to artisan cheese, bakery and more, those relationships help us bring quality and provenance to our customers every day. Last year's British Food Fortnight article highlighted several of these producers, including Warrens Fruit Farm, White Lake Cheese, Cobrey Farm, Padgets Produce, Netherend Farm and Wyke Farm.

Powered by Passionate People

At the heart of Arthur David are our people.

From our buyers and produce specialists to our Development Chef, Account Managers, Customer Excellence team, warehouse colleagues and drivers, there’s a huge amount of passion, dedication, expertise and knowledge across the business.

It’s our people who turn great products into something more – helping customers find what they need, sharing knowledge and inspiration, and making sure it gets to them when they need it.

That’s Food with Service.

Proud to Serve Great Businesses

For more than 60 years, we’ve had the privilege of supplying restaurants, pubs, hotels, cafés, schools, care settings and many more businesses across the West Country and beyond.

Just as we value the relationships we have with our producers and suppliers, we value the relationships we build with our customers. Getting to know their businesses, their menus and what matters to them is a fundamental part of how we work.

A Lot Has Changed. What Matters Hasn’t.

Arthur David today looks very different to the business that began in 1962. Our range has grown, technology has changed and the food industry continues to evolve.

But at the heart of what we do are the same things that have always mattered: great food, trusted relationships, knowledgeable people and great service.

This British Food Fortnight, we’re celebrating everyone who makes that possible – from the people who grow and make our food, to those who source it, deliver it and turn it into something worth serving.

Food with Service. Since 1962.
