08:00-16:00. Monday-Friday.
Arthur David Food with Service, an award-winning family business who specialise in supplying an impressive range of fresh, ambient, and frozen quality products to a variety of customers including manufacturers, schools and hospitality to name a few are seeking an experience credit controller to join our friendly Credit Management team on a full-time, permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to assist the Credit Management department in processing and arranging collection of customer accounts payments in accordance within our terms of trading and credit risk criteria.

Daily Tasks:
- Chasing customers via telephone, email or letter using Aged Debtor Report and structured Credit Cycle
- Arrange for accounts to be put on hold where applicable and work with internal teams for support in securing a resolution
- Reconciliation of ledger accounts with customers ensuring all discrepancies are fully investigated and corrected
- Request Remittances for payments received and allocate accordingly using Unallocated Cash Report
- Supply copy invoices/credits/statements via email or post
- Take card payments on a daily/weekly/monthly basis via card system
- Agree payment plans with scaling period set
- Keep all credit accounts accurate and well managed
- Reconcile all double entry system customers PO information on a weekly basis via process
- Raise month end statements using in house system
- Ensure banking duties are actioned on a weekly basis
- Ensure all departmental customer communication is completed within set timeframe

Experience:
- Experience in working within an accounts department (Minimum 6 months)
- Experience in working within the credit control sector (Minimum 6 months)
- Experience of speaking confidently to customers
- Experience in Customer Service
- Experience using Office applications
