Discover Four New Artisan Cheeses from White Lake

At Arthur David, we're passionate about bringing our customers exceptional products from outstanding British producers.

That's why we're delighted to introduce four exciting new cheeses from White Lake Cheese, the award-winning artisan dairy based in Somerset.

Crafted in small batches using carefully sourced cow's and sheep's milk, these cheeses combine traditional cheesemaking with innovative flavour profiles, making them ideal for summer menus, cheeseboards and seasonal specials.

Persian Gold

Fresh, vibrant and packed with flavour, Persian Gold is a jersey cow's milk cheese marinated in herb-infused rapeseed oil with garlic, basil, marjoram, thyme and peppercorns. Bright, zesty and wonderfully versatile, it's perfect for adding something different to your menu.

Try it in: Summer salads, mezze platters, bruschetta or grazing boards.

Glastonbrie

Made using rich Jersey cow's milk, Glastonbrie is a luxurious Brie-style cheese with a beautifully creamy centre that softens as it matures. Rich, indulgent and full of character, it's guaranteed to impress.

Try it as: A standout cheeseboard centrepiece, baked whole or served alongside artisan breads and chutneys.

Tuppence

Inspired by the classic French Crottin, Tuppence is a firm sheep's milk cheese that can be enjoyed fresh or matured for a deeper, more savoury flavour. Its clean, slightly citrus finish makes it incredibly versatile.

Try it: Grilled, baked, crumbled over warm salads or served as a simple starter.

English Pecorino Fresco

White Lake's take on the Italian classic, this semi-hard sheep's milk cheese delivers creamy texture with a balanced sweet-and-savour flavour that's equally at home on a cheeseboard or in the kitchen.

Try it: Shaved over pasta, salads and sandwiches, or simply served as part of an artisan cheese selection

Founded in 2004 by third-generation farmer Roger Longman, White Lake Cheese has become one of the UK's leading artisan cheesemakers. Based near Glastonbury, the dairy produces award-winning cheeses in small batches, combining generations of farming heritage with a passion for innovation, sustainability and exceptional craftmanship. Whether you're looking to refresh your cheeseboard, elevate your starters or introduce customers to something new, these latest additions offer plenty of inspiration.
